Fall Fashion

As a girl from Chicago, I am trained to revamp my closet every season – while most look forward to the September edition, I prefer updating my look winter, spring, summer and…fall! I LOVE fashion!

The first place I start is in my closet – I sort what needs to go, find and update the staples and look forward to purchasing a few key pieces to update my look.

While some people love to start in the stores, I feel it can be refreshing to start at home.

From sorting though things – I find shoes that need repair, organize and spend time appreciating my timeless clothes that remain the cornerstone of my closet. This time also prepares me to search out items that can bridge another season and what I really need to look my best.

This season I shopped my closet for my Loro Piana wrap – I have always loved leather fringe and cashmere and this wrap is double-sided which makes it especially versatile – I am on a plane 8 of 12 weeks this quarter.

I chose my diamond earrings as my go-to jewelry.

White shirts are clean and can be styled up and down easily for jeans or business.

I found a great pair of over-the-knee boots at DSW shoe store.

I bought a new pair of Mother Jeans.

My big add was the Balenciaga bag. I have carried it since late summer and every week since. I usually change my handbags, and friends and family have noticed my attachment to this killer accessory. I love the two handle lady-like option but the over-the-shoulder strap makes this handbag look great day and night. It has made the most wonderful travel bag and the ombré brown/black is timeless.
