Up, Up, Up…

Fifield is Building the tallest building in the West Loop!

Last week we held our groundbreaking ceremony for 727 West Madison. Our dream team is now changing our downtown skyline with 44 stories designed by FitzGerald Associates Architects with interiors by Morgante Wilson.

Where most neighborhoods have groups of NIMBY voices, the West Loop has Armando Chacon, President of the West Central Association, Dr.  Laura Calamos Nasir, President of the National Hellenic Museum, Irene Koumi, President of the Board of Directors for the Chicago Greektown Educational Foundation, and David & Ronna Friedman, owners of the building site and the Crowne Plaza Hotel. This neighborhood is ready for change!

The feeling on the ground was tremendous. This neighborhood realizes it needs housing. With tech firms, Google, McDonald’s, Soho House, The Ace Hotel and more businesses coming daily, more and more people love working, living and playing in the West Loop.

This neighborhood already services Restaurant Row and the central business districts…. as our iPhone reigns supreme, more and more tenants want to rent rather than take care of real estate.

Forbes ranks Chicago as the number 1 city for millennials, but The West Loop has more and more older people choosing it, too. Low-density buildings, good schools, Mary Bartelme Park, Monteverde Restaurant, and even Target makes the West Loop a defined neighborhood.

727 West Madison will offer a pool deck with Soho House views of the skyline, and at the very top …. a sky deck and lounge! Our amenity deck allows residents to live, work and play with game rooms, a test kitchen and a theater! While buildings today offer many of these same spaces, our high level of finishes, location and our service still make a market difference.

Being a hometown family, politicians, tenants and investors realize we are a team that pays attention to the details! Our data was used to define these leading edge interiors with the right cabinet , bathroom and interior finishes. Apartments offer larger amenities and more personal service due to their staff. They also offer the flexibility of time and budget.

727 West Madison brings a little bit of New York cache to this emerging neighborhood!
